Mayor of Malang: Let's go to the community

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Still in the spirit of the beginning of the year, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, invited all elements of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) to improve their work and performance. This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang while leading the morning assembly in the front yard of the Malang City Hall, Monday (16/1/2023).

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji hopes there will be acceleration in the digitalization process

"Thank you for the good cooperation, thank you for the good work together. Of course we must improve and make continuous improvements," he invited to motivate the ASN who attended the assembly.

Sutiaji asked the regional apparatus to accelerate the implementation of activities. Not only done quickly, but all activities must be planned and implemented carefully because they will have an impact on the community.
Furthermore, Sutiaji hopes that there will be acceleration in the digitalization process. "We have now entered the era of information and digitalization with the concept of The Future of Malang which has been initiated since four years ago. However, there are still many things that we need to improve and fix. We minimize and resolve the obstacles that have existed so far," he explained.

According to him, through digitalization of services there will be effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, accuracy. With the digitalization process, it is expected to cut a procedure to make it easier for the community. In addition, there will also be more time that can be spent in the field.

"If digitalization is running well, then it can go directly to the community. Come on down, minimize office routines with digitalization. The presence of the government and the state must be directly felt by the community and provide solutions to existing problems," he continued.

Sutiaji said that activities going down to the community such as visiting residents that have been carried out recently have been effective in helping the community. From this activity, the government can directly interact with residents and get a lot of input.

"The community visits we did yesterday were quite effective. We will continue to do this until all sub-districts are visited. Don't let up. From there we can inventory the residents' problems, so that we can provide solution steps. Who (regional apparatus) is doing what, with a clear timeline," he concluded. (ari/yon)
