Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Malang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) officially launched the 2023 Land and Building Tax (PBB) Tax Payable Notification Letter (SPPT) on the front page of Malang City Hall, Monday (30/1/2023).

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said that in Indonesia, taxes are the largest contributor to state revenue. "87 percent of our APBN relies on the tax sector, as is the case in Malang City. So we build local wisdom together. Please ASN, you are an example to all of society to be obedient in paying taxes," he said.
Sutiaji said that it is very necessary for the public to be aware as taxpayers to pay their taxes on time and digitally to minimize leakage, because it will be easy to track. This is done so that the Original Regional Income (PAD) of Malang City can be fulfilled optimally.
"The potential of Malang City is three to five trillion rupiah. We should be able to achieve that, as long as there are no leaks, public awareness is high, and the orientation is not a burdensome orientation. So the increase in income will be for the welfare of the community. The money will be for the benefit of the community, helping the poor, and for the development of Malang City," explained the bespectacled man.
Meanwhile, Head of Bapenda Malang City Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP, M.Si explained that with the launch of SPPT PBB, it is hoped that SPPT PBB can be immediately distributed to taxpayers (WP). "Payment is expected to be on time and increase regional tax revenues, especially from the PBB sector," he said.
Furthermore, Handi said that Bapenda now has an e-SPPT PBB application portal. Thus, if taxpayers have not received their SPPT PBB, taxpayers can open and print it independently by entering the tax object number via the site https://pajak.malangkota.go.id. Through this online regional tax application portal, the public is facilitated to check arrears and find out the PBB owed.
Handi said that in 2023, the PBB SPPT that will be distributed will be equipped with digital payment facilities through QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) to make it easier for taxpayers to make payments.
Bapenda Malang City has also collaborated with modern stores, e-Commerce, and online payment platforms through Indomaret, Alfamart, Post Office, Gopay, Tokopedia, OVO, and through Laku Pandai Bank Jatim agents. "Everything is done to bring services closer and facilitate services to the community as taxpayers to make PBB payments," he explained.
The Mayor of Malang and the Deputy Mayor of Malang on this occasion also directly paid their house PBB at the payment booths available in the PBB Payment Role Model Gebyar session. Likewise, the ASN and invited guests who attended were also invited to pay PBB.
