Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – A total of 1.049 proposals were collected in the Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in the context of preparing the 2024 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) which was held in the Blimbing District hall, Tuesday (31/1/2023).

The proposal came from 487 proposals from the community in 11 sub-districts which were forwarded to the district, and 562 proposals from the community which were addressed to the relevant regional apparatus.
Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Malang City, Dwi Rahayu, SH., M.Hum who was present and opened the activity hoped that each sub-district had determined priority proposals. According to him, this is important to do so that proposals that are important to the community can be accommodated immediately.
"As conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, our budget is limited. Therefore, let us make priorities so that what is truly for the community can be accommodated, especially by the regional apparatus," he explained.
Dwi added, according to applicable procedures, the proposals submitted to the sub-district-level Musrenbang will later be accommodated again in the city-level Musrenbang which is planned to be held in March 2023.
Looking at the previous year's Musrenbang, the proposals received from Blimbing District were 754 proposals, with 397 proposals or 52,8 percent of the total proposals received being successfully accommodated. This makes the proposals from Blimbing District the most accommodated in 2022.
Dwi hopes that in the 2023 Musrenbang, there will be more proposals that can be accommodated. In addition, he also hopes that the proposals submitted have followed the 14 strategic issues of Malang City.
"In the Pre-Musrenbang activity yesterday, there were instructions from the Sub-district Head, what strategic issues exist in Malang City, so that they can then be used as a legal basis for making proposals," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of Blimbing Sub-district, Nina Sudiarty, S.STP, M.Si revealed that there were several proposals submitted at the Pre-Musrenbang activities that were not included in the list of proposals for this Musrenbang.
However, he said that proposals that currently cannot be accommodated will later be included in the Proposal Dictionary which will be a guideline for the community in making proposals at the next Musrenbang.
"There are indeed some obstacles that we have experienced related to several proposals submitted, in the Proposed Dictionary. However, I think it is in accordance with the rules, because Bappeda issued the Proposed Dictionary based on existing rules. So for things that cannot be accommodated, they can be facilitated in the Proposed Dictionary," explained Nina.
In the previous Pre-Musrenbang activities at the sub-district level, Blimbing Sub-district has determined the proposals included in the priority proposals that will be the focus of regional development this year. Nina hopes that the proposals from Blimbing Sub-district can be accommodated, both at the regional apparatus level and at the city level. (iu/yon)
