Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Handling stunting, poverty, unemployment, and improving a number of public infrastructure such as drainage and road access are still a concern in the Kedungkandang District area.

In addition, the number of violence and protection against children and women also still needs to be suppressed. Therefore, the involvement and active role of all parties are needed to realize it.
This was conveyed by the Head of Kedungkandang District, Sapto Wibowo, SH, M.Hum, in the Kedungkandang District Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in the context of the Preparation of the 2024 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) at the Savana Hotel, Malang City, Wednesday (1/2/2023).
He added that this musrenbang accommodates 262 physical proposals and 326 non-physical proposals which will later be compressed to be submitted to the city-level musrenbang. "For the physical development of the proposal, a budget of around Rp10,5 billion is needed and non-physical Rp9,5 billion. While the total budget to be submitted is around Rp157 billion," explained Sapto.
Regarding this, the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Malang City, Dwi Rahayu, SH, M.Hum said that resolving various problems requires a long time. Various real steps must be taken immediately, such as training to reduce unemployment, facilitating business permits for the community, and improving nutritional intake to continue to reduce stunting rates.
In this musrenbang, Dwi advised to continue using the priority scale so that the benefits are felt by the community. "Of course, not all of the proposals will be accepted or approved in the city-level musrenbang later, because in Malang City there are five sub-districts. This is where the priority scale is needed," he explained.
Similar things were conveyed by representatives of Malang City DPRD members from the Kedungkandang District Electoral District, Suryadi. According to him, proposals and/or programs that will be brought to the city musrenbang must be based on needs, not desires. "We hope that in the future Malang City and especially Kedungkandang District will be more advanced and developed," he said.
The Musrenbang at the Kedungkandang Sub-district level was attended by a number of related elements, namely the village head, representatives of LPMK, RW heads, TP PKK and Karang Taruna. In addition, Danramil 0833/02 Kedungkandang Kapt. Kav. Sarmeli and Deputy Chief of Kedungkandang Police AKP Adi Fajar were also present. (say/yon)
