Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) again held a joint operation to control several points in Malang City, Wednesday (1/2/23). This control was carried out to improve smooth traffic and public comfort in carrying out activities. In addition, it is also a form of response from the Malang City Government to a number of public complaints received through several complaint service channels.
This was stated by the Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency (Dishub), Drs. R. Widjaja Saleh Putra, who directly led the operation.
"Earlier, we and the team disciplined buses and other public transportation that were parked inappropriately along Raden Intan to Arjosari Terminal. Another team also moved to the spillover market in Kedungkandang and Kebalen so that we can reduce traffic jams," explained the man who is often called Jaya.
Apart from the ongoing enforcement, Widjaja appealed to all parties to grow their commitment to increase awareness in driving and doing business.
"Yes, I continue to appeal that the parking location, waiting, and the provisions on the time limit for selling in the spilled market, we hope are obeyed. If each is orderly, God willing, the movement will be smoother, the economy will also run," he added.
In addition to officers from the Malang City Transportation Agency, officers from the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), the Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Agency (Diskopindag) and officers from the police were also deployed in the operation. (ndu/yon)
