Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The shared spirit to build a well-planned Malang City continues to be encouraged. This was seen during the Lowokwaru District Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in the context of the Preparation of the 2024 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) at the Lowokwaru District Office hall, Malang City, Wednesday (1/2/2023).

At the Musrenbang attended by the Head of Bappeda Malang City, members of the DPRD from Electoral District V Malang City, all Forkopimcam and residents of Lowokwaru District, the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji gave virtual directions.
Sutiaji in his speech gave appreciation to all parties who have worked together to build and give their best for Malang City. Including in Lowokwaru District which is currently holding Musrenbang to determine the priority scale of development in 2024 so that it can run well and sustainably.
"In addition to the priority of developing infrastructure and facilities, according to the President's mandate, what is very important to pay attention to is handling extreme poverty, stunting, violence and protection of women and children," said Sutiaji.
For that, the involvement of the community and government as a whole is expected to continue to be carried out to resolve various existing problems. According to him, the contribution of thoughts, time, and energy for the interests of the people of Malang City is extraordinary and very much needed. "Let us together strengthen each other for the sake of creating good governance," he invited.
The bespectacled man added that commitment and collaboration with all stakeholders must be strengthened to create a good system so that the community can be served well.
Meanwhile, Lowokwaru Sub-district Head Joao Maria Gomes de Carvalho, SIP, said that the purpose of this Musrenbang was to facilitate the aspirations of the people in the Lowokwaru Sub-district to the Malang City Government.
"There are three objectives, aligning regional apparatus programs and activities and activities resulting from Musrenbang, aligning programs and activities between regional apparatuses, and also adjusting funding between proposals and existing finances," said Joao.
He also hopes that this activity will build better cooperation and collaboration with all parties to provide the best for Lowokwaru District and Malang City.
Joao said that the proposals received have increased significantly from year to year. In 2022, there were 871 proposals received, which were accommodated in 448 sub-districts, while from the Malang City DPRD's Main Thoughts there were 492.
Meanwhile, in 2023, for the 2024 RKPD, 1.130 proposals were submitted. "If it is nominalized, it is Rp154 billion that Lowokwaru District needs to be able to meet the needs of the community in 2024," he explained. (cah/yon)
