Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Health Service (Dinkes) has opened various free health services in the area car Free Day coinciding with the opening of the yard of the Malang Mayor's Official Residence to the public, Sunday 12/2/2023.

Head of the Malang City Health Office, dr. H. Husnul Muarif, MM said the purpose of holding this activity is to facilitate and bring services closer to the community, or better known as jemput bola.
Overall, Husnul said there were six services provided by the Health Office in activities supported by health experts such as IDAI, PDPI, PERSAGI, Malang City Sanitarians, and the Healthy City Community Forum.
The six services are free non-communicable disease (NCD) examination services, Covid-19 vaccination services, examinations for malnourished toddlers, testing for malnutrition in toddlers, public health education, and education and testing of food sold in the Car Free Day area.
"The six services were chosen because they are included in the national priority program and are included in the minimum service standards that must be achieved, which are indicators of regional government service performance," he explained.
Husnul further explained that his party is trying to ensure that the health services provided will be held routinely every week in conjunction with activities. car Free Day. "We program it to continue. We adjust our services to the program of this area being opened to the public," he explained.
One of the residents of Blimbing, Anang, expressed his gratitude for the Covid-19 vaccination service which he felt made things easier for the community. "Hopefully in the future the services provided can be more organized, so that later the process will be easy for the community, from the beginning where to go to where to go," he said.
Meanwhile, Sinta, a Kasin resident who accompanied her child, said she was happy with this service. She obtained information about this service through Puskesmas officers in her area. Sinta assessed that the health services provided were also quite optimal.
"Attention to children who are considered malnourished has been incredibly helpful. Earlier they were picked up by ambulance, then here they were checked starting from their height, weight, then they were given directions for food and so on," he said.
From the data collected, a total of 258 residents received the Covid-19 vaccination. Meanwhile, 46 toddlers from 16 Community Health Centers throughout Malang City also received health services on this occasion. (iu/yon)
