Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Giving a touch of the existence of thematic villages to make it more interesting, the Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) of Malang City has prepared various programs. This time collaborating with the Paguyuban Kakang Mbakyu (Pakandayu), Disporapar held a coordination meeting for the preparation of the Thematic Village Party in the Press Conference Malang City Youth and Sports Agency, Monday (13/2/2023).
This Thematic Village Party event is planned to be held on Sunday (12/3/2023) at Malang City Point involving 23 Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) in Malang City.
Head of Disporapar Malang City Baihaqi, S.Pd, SE, M.Si said that today's activity is a gathering activity with the village heads and Pokdarwis in Malang City. One of the agendas is to prepare for the 2023 Thematic Village Party.
The Thematic Village Party, which is also an agenda to welcome the 109th Anniversary of Malang City, will be packaged with various activities, including a children's creative competition from the Thematic Village, cultural performances and there will also be an exhibition of superior products.
"This activity is our collaboration with Pakandayu, Malang City to jointly provide a touch to the thematic village in Malang City to make it more interesting to visit," explained Baihaqi, Monday (13/2/2023).
Baihaqi said that Disporapar gave extraordinary appreciation to the parties who took part in this activity. "This is one form of collaboration spirit. We are determined that Malang City is a tourist city, so we must manage tourist destinations well. That is why it is very important to have a dialogue today," said Baihaqi.
Baihaqi further said that his party could not carry out its duties alone without the support of the Pokdarwis and the village head as the regional stakeholders. We must continue to improve this good cooperation so that future activities can be carried out smoothly and well.
"Disporapar as a tourism stakeholder from now on and in the future will be an extraordinary challenge. We will carry out activities and it cannot be separated from the assistance of all of you," said Baihaqi.
He added, events which is city, regional and even international scale is being and continues to be carried out by Malang City. "Pesta is short for spectacular performances of thematic village children. We will carry out activities to find talents, skills, creativity, and identities of children from thematic villages," he explained again.
After the competition, the results will be used as a promotional tool. Seeing the existing thematic villages, Baihaqi said that there really needs to be a touch. "We strengthen it again, then there must be a characteristic," he said.
For example, when promoting Kampung Warna-Warni, then when there are groups of tourists, of course they must provide the best possible display. This is very necessary and Baihaqi said that his party will always support. "If thematic villages in Malang City need facilitation, of course we are ready.
