Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The program to visit residents of the Mayor of Malang together with the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) which as usual is packaged with cycling (gowes) sports activities while greeting residents, this time targeting the Arjosari and Balearjosari Villages, Blimbing District, Malang City, Friday (17/2/2023).
While cycling, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji and his staff visited seven locations to hand over aid and see the real conditions of the residents. One of the locations visited by the Mayor of Malang was the family of a married couple selling fried food, Susianto-Endang, who are categorized as underprivileged on Jl Teluk Cendrawasih RT 4 RW 01, Arjosari Village.
Susianto expressed his happiness and did not expect to be visited by the Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, who came directly to his house. This was an honor for him, to be visited by the number one person in the Malang City Government.
"I am very happy that the Mayor is present. May the Mayor be blessed, be good, and always have a long life," said Susianto in prayer.
The same thing was expressed by Susanto's wife, Endang, who admitted that she was very happy with the presence of the Mayor of Malang. Moreover, on this occasion the Mayor of Malang also provided various assistance, be it basic necessities, financial assistance, or health facilities.
"The happiest thing was when I found out that the Mayor of Malang was going to dismantle my house. "That was very exciting for us, because the house was all leaking like Doremon's house," joked Endang.
Endang said, with her husband's condition who is no longer able to work, to be able to meet daily needs she sells fried foods in front of the alley. From selling fried foods, she said the results are also uncertain, but it is enough to be able to meet daily needs.
"Alhamdulillah for the help and attention given by the Mayor, we cannot repay with anything. We can only pray that the Mayor's life will always be blessed," said Endang. (cah/yon)
