Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, once again held a routine program to visit residents, which this time was carried out in the Arjosari and Balearjosari Sub-districts, Blimbing District, Malang City, Friday (17/2/2023).
This morning, there were seven residents who are elderly, disabled, and underprivileged families in the Arjosari and Balearjosari Sub-districts who were visited by the Mayor of Malang and his entourage. After visiting the seven points, the Mayor of Malang together with his staff and also the community gathered at the Graha Arjosari Multipurpose Building to communicate in a forum entitled a community meeting.
This is the fourth time in 2023 that the Mayor of Malang has implemented a program to visit residents. "We are checking the field. We are in direct contact with the community and it turns out that they miss the presence of the leader. The community is happy and it makes me touched," he said.
Sutiaji wanted to make sure whether his citizens had received their rights as citizens, such as health services, registered in PKH (Family Hope Program) and received non-cash assistance, and so on. The Mayor of Malang also directly provided assistance to seven residents and six other residents who attended the community meeting.
Various reports were submitted by residents of Arjosari and Balearjosari Sub-districts, including infrastructure problems to education and health services. The various reports from residents were immediately responded to by the relevant regional apparatus. The Mayor of Malang also asked the relevant regional apparatus to immediately follow up and resolve the problems faced by these residents.
"As usual, I hope the relevant agencies will immediately follow up on this report. If it can be completed today, complete it. Check and complete it immediately. At least by Wednesday there will be a report to us on the progress," said Sutiaji.
After holding a citizen meeting, Malang Mayor Sutiaji then gathered the ranks of regional apparatus heads to hold a coordination meeting. In this activity, various public services were also presented to facilitate the community, such as the services of Dispendukcapil, DisnakerPMPTSP, PDAM, Bank Jatim, and so on. (ari/yon)
