Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Helping the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in providing clean water, Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH) distributed a drilled well endowment program. The laying of the first stone for the construction of this drilled well was carried out directly at the Islamic boarding school located on Jalan Bareng Kartini Gang 3G Kauman, Klojen District, Malang City, Monday (20/2/2023).
The caretaker of the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, Hibsa Al Ayubi, said that the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School has been taking care of many orphans. However, so far only male orphans have been accepted, because there is no place for female orphans. "Alhamdulillah, not long ago we were able to buy a house to accommodate the female orphans which in the future will be used as a female Islamic boarding school," explained Hisa, Monday (20/2/2023).
And thankfully, now at Ponpes Darul Hidayah, they have received a well-drilled endowment from Nusantara Gilang Gemilang (NGG) through Baitul Maal Hidayatulah. "This is very good for the completeness of the prospective female Islamic boarding school for the provision of clean water. We are grateful for this assistance, because it will be very helpful in fostering and caring for orphans at the female Islamic boarding school," said Hisa.
He added that the assistance of this drilled well is a blessing for the children and the people in the village on Jl Bareng Kartini Gang 3G. "This is an unexpected surprise, because the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School program just flows," he added.
Hisa said, one of the noble teachings of our ancestors is the importance of giving water alms. Giving water alms is more noble than giving money alms, because you can imagine if there was no water. "That's why our ancestors used to have a jug in front of their house, it proves that our ancestors understood that the main alms is giving water alms," said Hisa.
Meanwhile, President of Nusantara Gilang Gemilang (NGG) drh. Puguh Wiji Pamungkas admitted that he was very grateful to be able to realize his desire to help Ponpes Darul Hidayah in procuring drilled wells. This is the second drilled well installation from NGG in helping the community after previously being carried out in the Dau area, Malang Regency.
"This is our second aid drilled well, precisely we built it in Kauman Village, Klojen District, Malang City, located at the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School which is managed by Gus Hisyam Al Ayubi," said Teguh. (cah/yon)
