Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) of Malang City is intensively conducting market operations to ensure that cooking oil (migor) stocks are safe ahead of Ramadan. This time the market operation was carried out at Bunul Market, Malang City, Tuesday (21/2/2023).

Head of the Trade Control and Supervision Section of the Malang City Trade and Industry Office, Luh Putu Eka Wilantari, when met, confirmed that currently at Bunul Market, cooking oil from PT Binakarya Prima is being distributed.
"There are 240 cartons of cooking oil distributed at Bunul Market. This is an effort to maintain the availability of cooking oil in the market so that it remains available at an affordable price," explained Eka, Tuesday (21/2/2023).
The subsidized packaged cooking oil distributed to traders at Bunul Market under the Minyakita brand must be sold at a maximum price of IDR 14.000 according to the HET (Highest Retail Price) set by the Ministry of Trade.
Purchases of subsidized packaged cooking oil must also use the Simirah (Bulk Cooking Oil Information System) application to make monitoring easier.
"Simirah application must be owned by traders to be able to buy Minyakita. The goal is for equality so that affordable cooking oil is truly available in the people's market," said Eka.
With this market operation, it is hoped that the availability of staple food stocks, including cooking oil, will always be maintained and price stability and people's purchasing power can be guaranteed.
"After Bunul Market, the distribution of subsidized packaged cooking oil in Malang City will be carried out at Madyopuro Market, Malang City on Thursday (23/2/2023)," concluded Eka. (cah/yon)
