Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – For the first time, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Malang City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) held an awards night. Satu Data (SATA) Award Malang City 2023 at Malang Creative Center (MCC) Malang City, Wednesday (8/3/2023). The 2023 SATA Award Malang City is a media for assessing all data producers within the Malang City Government.
SATA Award is divided into three categories and participated by 28 regional apparatuses, 57 sub-districts, and 17 health facilities within the Malang City Government. For the Health Facility Category, Puskesmas Bareng was selected as the best data producer. Meanwhile, Kelurahan Gadang ranked first for the Kelurahan Category. And in the Regional Apparatus Category, the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City won the highest score in this event.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, on this occasion also gave his appreciation to vertical agencies in the Malang City area for their support and participation in the development of the Malang Portal. Satu Data, including the Malang City Police, Malang City BPS, Malang City OJK, Malang City BPN, Malang City Ministry of Religion Office, and the Malang City and Batu City Regional Education Office Branch of East Java Province.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech hoped that through this award, it would encourage data providers to actively fill in data. According to him, data is very important because it is the basis for making correct and appropriate policies.
"We hope that the data is also processed according to needs. If you already have this data, then what is it used for. That's the most important thing," said the bespectacled man.
On this occasion, Sutiaji also encouraged data producers to continue updating the data presented. "We will also work together to validate, such as the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). Indeed, there is already starting points- namely data from DTKS. There are anomalies, people have moved, or those who were previously poor are now not. So we want to update the data not annually, but monthly. Because today's data with the next two days may not be the same. The name of the data is certainly dynamic," explained the number one person in the Malang City Government.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Muhammad Nur Widianto, S.Sos said that this event was a series of events to welcome the 109th anniversary of Malang City. "The spirit of the anniversary theme (of Malang City), namely Independent, Resilient, and Sustainable, is one of the guidelines and values for building Satu Data Malang City. One independent data, one resilient data, and one sustainable data," he explained.
The friendly man said that to ensure the quality of the data presented, a systematic assessment was carried out through verification and validation of information from independent evaluation results. Independent evaluation of sectoral statistical implementation was carried out to measure the Statistical Development Index (IPS) which describes the level of maturity (maturity level) in every local government agency.
"This award provides appreciation for the performance, creativity and innovation carried out by data producers in managing and utilizing data and their contribution to the implementation of Satu Data Malang City," concluded the man who is familiarly called Wiwid.
Also present at the 2023 SATA Award night were the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT, Head of the Malang City OJK, Head of the Malang City BPS, Deputy Chief of the Malang City Police, members of the Malang City DPRD, the Malang City Ministry of Religion Office, the Malang City BPN, and heads of regional apparatus within the Malang City Government.
