Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After about three weeks of implementing traffic engineering and road transportation management in the Klojen area of Malang City, the engineering management policy was established on Monday (12/3/2023). This policy was taken by the Malang City Transportation Agency (Dishub) after a study and discussion with the Traffic Forum and traffic experts.
Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency, Drs. Widjaja Saleh Putra, when met on Thursday (15/3/2023) also expressed his appreciation and thanked all parties such as the city transportation association and the Malang City community in general.
From that achievement, Widjaja said that his party received appreciation from various parties in four other sub-districts, namely Blimbing, Lowokwaru, Sukun and Kedungkandang. "To reduce congestion, many parties want to implement one-way, so that traffic flow is smoother," he explained.
Regarding this, the bespectacled man said that the characteristics of the areas or roads in the other four sub-districts are different from the Klojen Sub-district which currently implements a one-way lane. "Of course we appreciate and will accommodate this and will discuss it with the relevant parties. Such as traffic forums, experts and the local community," said the man who is familiarly called Jaya.
He further said that his party will immediately coordinate with a number of parties who will then conduct an in-depth study. "If in the four sub-districts, a one-way lane can be implemented, especially at traffic congestion points, why not. Of course we will take all proposals seriously for the sake of mutual comfort," concluded Jaya. (say/yon)
