Ririn, the stall owner, said that this cwie mie stall was originally founded by her father, Pak Sai in front of Oro-oro Dowo Market. The business was pioneered by her father from a cart until now it is located on Jl. Guntur, Malang City.
"After Dad sold at Oro-Oro Dowo Market, he also moved several times in front of Frateran school, then Jl. Bromo until now we are here," he explained.
According to Ririn, her cwie mie business can continue to survive and become legendary because it still serves authentic traditional flavors in every bowl of noodles. All ingredients are prepared by herself to maintain its characteristics and flavors.
"What's different about us is the noodles we use. The texture is different because the noodles are smaller and thinner than most in Malang. So that's our characteristic," he said.
Cwie Mie Isor Uwit serves three menu variants, namely regular cwie mie without topping, cwie mie meatballs and special cwie mie with additional topping liver and gizzard. Ririn added, this is what is interesting about Cwie Mie Isor Uwit, because it is a pioneer in the cwie mie menu with the addition of topping liver gizzard.
A bowl of Cwie Mie Isor Uwit is priced at IDR 12.000. Meanwhile, for cwie mie with additional toppings of meatballs and liver and gizzards, the price is IDR 17.000.
