Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji together with Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko symbolically handed over the Decree on the Appointment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for Health Workers for the 2022 Formation in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall, Wednesday (5/4/2023).

Malang Mayor Sutiaji hopes that the addition of these health workers will also support health services in Malang City. "Our hope is that it will further strengthen the health centers to become First Level Health Facilities (FKTP). Likewise, the RSUD will further strengthen services and minimize public complaints regarding services," he said.
On this occasion, Sutiaji emphasized that health services must be provided as optimally as possible. "Services for sick people must be fast, the people who serve must be friendly. This must be understood by our ASN, officers in the field are expected to understand that. Hopefully, with this additional workforce, our public services will be even better," he hoped.
The number one person in the Malang City Government also advised the PPPK Health Workers to work well and instill the intention of devotion to God Almighty in carrying out their daily work. "Improve your competence and performance, God willing, you will be successful," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) Drs. Totok Kasianto said that the appointment of PPPK Health Workers in the 2022 Formation was an effort to meet the needs of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Malang City Government environment in accordance with competency, professionalism, and integrity standards in order to improve health services for the people of Malang City.
The PPPK employee selection stage was attended by 101 applicants and based on the selection results, 24 people with the highest scores were selected to be placed in the Health Office, Regional Public Hospital, and Community Health Center in Malang City. "The health workers consist of pharmacists, nurses, nutritionists, sanitarians, health promotion workers, and health administrators," explained Totok. (ari/yon)
