Disporapar Will Empower Clutch Sellers

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) of Malang City will organize and empower the traveling coffee sellers (Kopling) in the Kayutangan Heritage Area. So in the future, these traveling coffee sellers will be more optimal in working and more aesthetic in terms of their performance. Previously, these clutch sellers were disciplined because they disrupted traffic flow.

Clutch sellers in the heritage hand wood area will soon be organized

Regarding this, the Head of Disporapar Malang City, Baihaqi, S.Pd, SE, M.Si confirmed the incident because initially in the Kayutangan Area there were no traders allowed to go around. However, over time, the Kayutangan Area which is one of the icons of Malang City is increasingly crowded with residents and tourists.

"From this condition, we are trying to find a solution so that these traveling coffee sellers can still sell. Because it is undeniable that visitors who sit around in Kayutangan also need drinks or snacks, so that it will add to the comfort of everyone who comes to Kayutangan Heritage," explained Baihaqi.

He added that his party will verify the clutch sellers and will prioritize local residents. The work system will be arranged in such a way as to be fair, and they will later wear traditional clothing or traditional clothes. "This program is also a form of concern from the Malang City Government to leverage the economy of residents," explained Baihaqi.

"We will later collaborate with related agencies, such as the Transportation Agency, Diskopindag and Satpol PP so that these traders are more orderly. So they will continue to sell around and not settle in one particular place. In the near future we will realize that," he concluded. (say/yon)
