Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The homecoming flow for Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah is estimated to start from April 19 to April 21, 2023, coinciding with the start of the national holiday. During the homecoming flow, users of public transportation services passing through the Arjosari Terminal in Malang City are predicted to increase by up to 70 percent from normal days of around 4.000 passengers arriving or departing.
This was conveyed by the Commander of the Arjosari Terminal Team, Lolok Bambang Irianto when met, Sunday (16/4/2023). Regarding the predicted increase in passengers, he said that various preparations and anticipations had been made by the Management of the Arjosari Type A Terminal in Malang City. Such as checking the suitability of buses, driver health and Lebaran transportation posts which include health posts and security posts.
This fleet and driver check, said Lolok, will be carried out routinely and can even be done every day. All of this is done to support the security, comfort and smoothness of the homecoming flow. However, residents who want to go home for Eid should also be vigilant and not bring excessive and conspicuous items so that when going home it does not invite crime.
When going home, he appealed to residents to have a mature plan, such as which bus to take, prepare funds according to needs and do not choose the wrong bus. Thus the homecoming trip will be in accordance with the plan and run smoothly.
He explained that passengers can go home from Arjosari Terminal to several destinations, such as Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Jember, Medan, Bandung and Jakarta. "Being vigilant and preparing optimally will support the journey during the homecoming flow later," concluded Lolok. (say/yon)
