Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership determined that 1 Shawwal 1444 Hijriah falls on Friday (21/4/2023), the Klojen Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership (PCM) also held Eid prayers at the Gajayana Stadium in Malang City.

Deputy Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) of Malang City, Triyo Supriatno, said that the difference in determining 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah between the Central Government and PP Muhammadiyah was something normal.
"Differences must be faced with an open heart, such as the difference between day and night, as well as the difference between dawn, dhuha and dawn," explained Triyo, Friday (21/4/2023).
The difference is inevitable so it is very natural for there to be differences among Muslims, including in determining 1 Syawal. Allah SWT has taught us to pay attention to different times. "So our lives must have differences with others," said Triyo.
Triyo said that in Malang City there are approximately 100 places, either mosques or fields to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers 1444 H. Specifically in the Klojen District area, there are 15 plotted points for carrying out Eid al-Fitr prayers 1444 H.
During the Eid prayer at Gajayana Stadium, Triyo, who also acted as the preacher, delivered a sermon with the theme of becoming a pious and progressive person.
“We have progressive values that continue to rise in this life, one of which is facing Covid-19 which has passed. "Rise up to become people who progress with other Muslims, and progress with other children of the nation," stressed Triyo.
The meaning of Eid al-Fitr, said Trito, is returning to nature or purity, purity that is related to divine values. "With this Eid al-Fitr we become humans who rise in progress, Islam that is more open-hearted and upholds tolerance," said Triyo.
As the Prophet Muhammad SAW has set an example to be a person with noble character who is tolerant, intelligent, intelligent and wise, and has the values of progress in science and social life. (cah/yon)
