Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Entering the second day of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah/2023, traffic flow in Malang City was observed to be smooth. One of them was seen at the Madyopuro toll gate which was observed to be smooth and there had been no significant increase, Sunday (23/4).

Head of Traffic Police of Malang City Police Commissioner Akhmad Fani Rakhim revealed that traffic flow in Malang City entering the second day of Eid is still monitored smoothly. Even so, Malang Police has prepared a scheme if later there is a spike in traffic flow, both entering and leaving Malang City.
"Entering the second day of Eid, we have prepared various anticipations if there is an increase in vehicle volume, including increasing the number of personnel including the investigation team," said Fani, Sunday (23/4/2023).
The additional number of personnel is mainly in areas predicted to experience an increase in vehicle volume. In addition, traffic diversion engineering is also prepared if necessary.
The areas predicted to experience increased traffic flow, he said, include the eastern area of Jl. Ki Ageng Gribig, the northern area of Jl Ahmad Yani Blimbing, and the southern area in Kebonsari, Sukun District.
Meanwhile, the traffic engineering scheme to untangle will be applied if there is situational and conditional traffic density. Including today, from the results of monitoring the traffic flow that has begun to increase, including in the eastern part of Malang City, namely on Jl Ki Ageng Gribig and also in the northern part of Jl Ahmad Yani Blimbing.
Agung Kuncoro, a resident of Madyopuro, said that he had been around several areas of Malang City to visit relatives. He said that both when he went to Sukun and Blimbing, the roads in Malang City were relatively quiet and smooth.
"People may have all gone home, during Lebaran in Malang City the traffic is not busy. So it's a relief to drive around the city," explained Agung. (cah/yon)
