After Eid Holiday, MPP Starts to Be Crowded with Visitors

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The activities of the Malang City Public Service Mall (MPP) were seen to be active again after the 1444 Hijri Eid holiday, Wednesday (26/4/2023). Service outlets, especially those under the auspices of the Malang City Government, were seen to have returned to serving the public.

Public service counters located on Jl Merdeka Timur, Klojen have begun to be visited by people who want to take care of various needs. The queues are quite crowded at the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) and Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) outlets of Malang City.

"For the first time, today seems to be more than usual. Especially for new KTP applicants who will do more recording than previous days. Maybe because of the influence of the school holidays," said Muhammad Furchon, a verifier at Dispendukcapil.

In addition to requests for new ID cards, Furchon also said that there were requests for repairs to damaged cards and making lost ID cards. It was recorded that until 11.00:37 WIB, Dispendukcapil had served 30 applicants for lost or damaged ID cards. Meanwhile, there were XNUMX applications for making new ID cards.

"These were some of the KTP applicants from Malang City but their domiciles were outside the city and happened to be going home so they could take care of the documents. For damaged KTPs, it can be done immediately. For making KTPs, it only takes about three working days because they have to wait from Jakarta. On average, those who went home just returned next week, so it's possible," he said.

One of the residents of Malang City who came to the MPP on the first day of work after the Eid holiday was Ella Yuyuna who was accompanying her child to do the recording for making a new KTP.

According to him, the service at MPP is very good and makes things easier for residents. "I think the service here is okay, there are no problems. If it's better here, fast because everything is digital too. So it's easier than before when there was a long queue. Besides, the place is also nice and comfortable," explained the woman who lives on Jalan Kiai Tamin.

The same experience was expressed by Mita Devi who was taking care of the Certificate of Ownership (SHM) for her house. "I want to ask for PBB legalization to take care of SHM. This is my first time here. I am from Malang but domiciled in Balikpapan. So this happened to be going home, so I took care of the house at the same time. I just found out that there is a place to take care of this in the mall, so it's easier," said the woman in the hijab. (ari/yon)
