In addition to the development of the local film community, the potential of every corner of this City of Education is also able to invite these national filmmakers to work in Malang City.
Head of PR & Promotion Hitmaker Studios, Dakarchi during an audience with the Mayor of Malang at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) Malang City, Tuesday (2/5/2023) revealed that the enthusiasm of Malang City residents for the world of film is truly extraordinary, so that it has become an attraction for filmmakers to explore the potential within it.
"We often promote to Malang and we see the enthusiasm of the audience. One day we thought about how to make Malang into something iconic," he explained.
The man who is familiarly called Izal also appreciates the support given directly by the Malang City Government. According to him, Malang City is the only city whose government fully supports the local film industry.
“The film industry and content creator in this city (Malang) it is very developed, because this city is the only city in Indonesia that is fullysupport by the government," he explained.
Likewise, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, said that his party greatly appreciated the intention of Hitmaker Studios to raise the potential of Malang City in the form of a film.
According to him, this will also increase the tourism and creative economy in Malang City. "In principle, we agree with the steps that are being taken, and will fully support this intention," he said.
The bespectacled man said that by looking at Malang City as one of the film cities in Indonesia, it answers what has been aspired to all this time, namely to provide the potential that exists in Malang City to the Indonesian nation. He also hopes that the contribution given to the Indonesian nation will not only stop in the world of film, but also in other fields.
"This answers what has been aspired to since the beginning of our collaboration since 2018, from Malang for Indonesia. That the works of the Malang people are not only enjoyed here, but also by all Indonesian people," he concluded. (iu/yon)
