Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) held an activity to Improve Understanding and Knowledge of Cooperatives as well as the Capacity and Competence of Cooperative Human Resources Through Technopreneur-Based Entrepreneurship at the Montana Hotel, Tuesday (2/5/203) to Wednesday (3/5/2023).

Head of Diskopindag Malang City Dr. Eko Sri Yuliadi, S.Sos, MM in his speech emphasized that his party is very serious about developing cooperatives. Among them is by holding this activity related to the development of entrepreneurship by utilizing technology.
"The obstacle for MSMEs is usually that they can produce but cannot market. So through this activity we will help MSMEs through cooperatives to be able to develop, one of which is by utilizing technology," explained Eko Sya, the nickname of the Head of the Malang City Trade and Industry Office, Tuesday (2/5/2023).
Moreover, in 2023, Eko said that Diskopindag is trying to encourage MSMEs through cooperatives so that they can be more empowered, more focused on producing quality products, while the sale of their products will be assisted through cooperatives.
In this case, he said that Diskopindag is very open to helping cooperatives and the community as a whole. Anyone who wants to try, wants to advance their business through cooperatives, he said that Diskopindag is very open, both for consultation and application.
Meanwhile, a resource person from the Malang City Communication and Information Service, M. Sidik, MT explained the use of the Malang UMKM shopping application Buy Local Products (Malpro) which can be accessed at https://malpro.malangkota.go.id/.
This Malpro application innovation is one of the efforts of the Malang City Government to strengthen Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as a strategic economic pillar.
