Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – All high schools and vocational schools on Friday (5/5/2023) announced the graduation of their students, including Malang City.
Every year, the euphoria of graduation is seen from students who celebrate their graduation with various activities as a form of gratitude. However, in this moment of school graduation celebration, students should maintain the conduciveness of Malang City.
As done by the Acting Head of Community Relations of the Malang City Police, AKP Lilik Isti Setyaningsih, who this time directly visited several high schools to provide an appeal to all students to carry out positive activities.
One of the schools visited was SMAN 4 Malang City. AKP Lilik advised the school together with the students to avoid convoy activities and carrying out vandalism activities that could harm the public interest and aesthetics of Malang City.
"In accordance with the direction and instructions of the Malang City Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Pol. Budi Hermanto, we visited the school together with teachers and guardians to always supervise their children and provide an appeal so that children do not carry out activities that can cause disturbances to public order, so that they can be directed to create positive activities," explained AKP Lilik.
AKP Lilik said that school graduation celebrations can be filled with various positive activities, such as expressing gratitude by visiting orphanages, nursing homes, or places of worship to share happiness.
"I am sure and believe that students in Malang City are capable of becoming pioneers or examples for other students in Indonesia to become agents of change by filling their school graduation through various positive and useful activities," he added.
A similar statement was made by the Head of the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud), Suwarjana. According to him, since some time ago his party has also given an appeal to schools regarding this matter.
He further said that his party believes that students in Malang City already understand such things, so that it is possible that the graduation moment will not be filled with negative things. (say/yon)
