Malang City Government Provides Facilities for Malang Plaza Fire Victims

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) continues to strive to help traders and tenant owners who were victims of the Malang Plasa Mall fire that occurred on May 2, 2023. In this case, traders and tenant owners are facilitated in terms of capital loans for business.

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji held a meeting with traders who were victims of the Malang Plasa Mall fire

Regarding this matter, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, Friday (12/5/2023) said that his party had held a meeting with traders on Thursday (11/5/2023) in the Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall.

This is a follow-up to the previous meeting that was held on Monday (8/5/2023). He said that previously the traders asked to be facilitated with the banking sector. "So it's already with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), I ask immediately. From the traders, take inventory of which ones they borrowed, where, and so on," explained the bespectacled man.

From the results of the meeting, Sutiaji revealed that there were 29 traders and the amount of their loans varied. The plans for using the loans also varied, such as some for restructuring, then applications to cover previous debts, and new applications.

"Of the 29, 17 of them do not have dependents, and many of the traders' ID cards are from outside the city. Later, we will think about the ones from outside the city again, so that they can later be given a domicile statement. Their requirements will also be made easier," concluded Sutiaji. (say/yon)
