Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) together with Arema FC management are currently discussing a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) regarding the plan to use Gajayana Stadium as Arema FC's home ground in the 1 Liga 2023 competition season.
Regarding this matter, the Head of the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) of Malang City, Baihaqi, said that Arema FC management is ready to repair the infrastructure of Gajayana Stadium if the PKS Gajayana Stadium as Arema FC's temporary home has been approved by the Malang City Government.
"Alhamdulillah, yesterday I had an audience with Arema FC management. I want to know the management's intentions and goals, because Gajayana Stadium still does not meet League 1 standards," he said, Wednesday (17/5/2023)
From the audience, Baihaqi revealed that his party received information that if the cooperation agreement for the use of Gajayana Stadium as Arema FC's home ground is reached, Arema is ready to make improvements to the stadium's infrastructure.
Baihaqi added that one of the infrastructure improvements that is a priority for Arema FC is the installation of single seat spectator stands.
"The most important example is the construction of a single seat. Because the construction of a single seat is an obligation that must be fulfilled if Arema FC will later use the Gajayana Stadium as home base," concluded Baihaqi. (say/yon)
