Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The innovation and research expo of lecturers and students of the Malang State Polytechnic (Polinema) which took place from Monday (21/5/2023) to Thursday (24/5/2023) at Graha Polinema received an enthusiastic welcome. This can be seen from the large number of visitors to the expo which raised the theme 'Strengthening Polinema Innovation Products to Support Acceleration of Regional Partnerships, the Industrial World and MSMEs'.

Director of Polinema Supriatna Adhisuwignyo said that this exhibition is one of a series of activities in the framework of Polinema's 41st Dies Natalis which was designed to be as attractive as possible by displaying various works of lecturers and students.
"In essence, we hope that by facilitating this, the works of lecturers and students can reach the people who need them," explained Supriatna, Tuesday (23/5).
The community in question is a community group including MSME actors, industry, and all other parties who need the works of Polinema lecturers and students.
In addition, Polinema also facilitates several partner industries and MSMEs that collaborate with Polinema. These partners come from villages, research centers, and researchers who are developing their products. They are also facilitated to participate in the expo.
In addition, this activity also aims to bring together campuses with industry and MSMEs. It is hoped that collaboration and synergy between campuses, industry, and MSMEs can be realized through this event.
This is also an effort to bring the campus closer to the industry and support MSMEs. In order to achieve this goal, this expo held a talk show and a symbolic event to hand over the work of lecturers and students to MSMEs.
Next, the partners are invited to do Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Education Unit (SPK) with Polinema campus. This is not just a signing of the MoU, but a real activity that is expected to provide benefits to Polinema partners.
One of the visitors to the exhibition, Hari Purnomo, expressed his joy at being able to see the exhibition directly at Graha Polinema. According to him, the discoveries exhibited by lecturers and students can be a solution to meet the needs of society.
"At the exhibition earlier, I was interested in the plant health detector. If the tool can be used by farmers, it will certainly help them a lot in recognizing the condition of the plants and detecting diseases that attack, so they can prevent greater losses," said Hari. (cah/yon)
