Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Commander of Infantry Division (Pangdiv) 2 of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad) Major General TNI Haryanto, SIP, M.Tr (Han) led the handover ceremony of the position of Commander of the 2/ABW/2 Kostrad Arhanud Battalion from Lieutenant Colonel. Arh. Setu Wibowo, S.Hub.Int, to Lieutenant Colonel Arh Luthfi Novriadi, SE, S.Sos, M.Han, M.Sc at the Krida Field of Yon Arhanud 2/ABW/2 Malang, Thursday (25/5/2023).
Also present at the handover of office were Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, Head of the Malang City District Attorney's Office (Kejari) and a number of officials from the Indonesian Army.
Pangdivif 2 Kostrad Maj. Gen. TNI Haryanto explained that the handover of positions within the Indonesian Army is a natural process in organizational management. The mechanism for changing positions, he said, is a natural thing as part of the development of personnel and interrelated units.
"The purpose of this handover is to encourage the spirit of progress and renewal. In this mindset, it is expected to improve the performance and productivity of the organization," explained Major General TNI Haryanto, Thursday (25/5/2023).
Major General TNI Haryanto said that this handover activity was also a career development for the officers concerned, where the implementation of the handover process had been carried out.
It is hoped that the tasks assigned can be carried out well and the mandate given can be fulfilled well. Pangdifiv also did not forget to give a message so that the tasks that have been assigned are carried out with courage, sincerity, and sincerity.
He reminded that the demands of current and future tasks will be increasingly difficult and heavy, with strategic and complex environmental dynamics. Therefore, it is important to provide comprehensive advice and input to leaders according to their respective functions.
