Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The East Java Regional Community Sports Festival (FORDA) 1 presents performances Universal Line Dance (ULD) which was exciting and full of spirit at the Lanal Malang Hall, on Tuesday (30/5/2023). This festival was the first to be held and was attended by nine regions.
Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, expressed his appreciation for the community's enthusiasm in exercising and maintaining fitness while still upholding sportsmanship. He emphasized the importance of supporting this event to motivate the community to exercise.
"Maintaining fitness is the responsibility of KORMI and also ULD. Good luck competing by upholding sportsmanship, hopefully the community's fitness will improve," explained Edi on Tuesday (30/5/2023).
The ULD competition was attended by participants of various ages, with a total of nine contingents from Cities/Regencies in East Java. The extraordinary enthusiasm of the participants was a good start, considering that this was the first time FORDA was held.
"I am sure that the spirit of ULD will raise the spirit in the existing community sports. This is a good start to prepare ourselves better in the future," said Edi.
This activity is very important and valuable, because the spirit of exercising and maintaining health can continue to be instilled. With the participation of various participants, this activity has a positive impact on the health, fitness, and happiness of the community.
In addition, it is also important to maintain sportsmanship in community sports. Things that need to be appreciated are the creativity, innovation, ideas, and independence of the participants. Interestingly, all participants in this activity use their own funds.
In Universal Dance, there are two numbers competed, and after this activity, a bigger event is planned. In fact, a national ULD competition has also been planned. (cah/yul)
