Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Still in the excitement of the 109th Anniversary of Malang City, this time Ngalam Folding Bike is holding the Malang 109 K Challenge (M109). An event for folding bike enthusiasts. These cyclists will explore the Malang City area and part of Malang Regency with a route of 109 km.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, personally sent off the cyclists, numbering around 600 people, to enjoy the cool yet challenging landscape of Malang Raya and various iconic spots of Malang City.
"We welcome you to Bumi Arema with its One Soul Greeting. In this city of Malang, anyone can play a role with one main goal, the flying of the Red and White flag that we love," said the bespectacled man.
This event is designed to improve sports tourism in Malang City. M109 can also be used as a means to boost the economy and tourism in Malang City and its surrounding areas by introducing the potential of MSMEs and various original products of Malang City to participants.
"The activity initiated by the folding bike community in Malang City certainly supports our program which is expected to be a boost for growth and economic development. Of course, it drives MSMEs and other economic sectors in Malang City," concluded Sutiaji. (ari/yon)
