Watching Indonesia-Argentina Match Together, Mayor of Malang Gives Two Thumbs Up

Sutiaji appreciated the performance of the Indonesian National Football Team (Timnas) in the FIFA Matchday match when they faced the Argentine National Team at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Jakarta, Monday night (19/6/2023). According to him, although the Red and White team had to admit Argentina's superiority and lost with a score of 0-2 in this match, the resistance and game presented were very good.

The Mayor of Malang said that all Indonesian players had played well and brought out their best abilities. "Actually, our team had several opportunities to score goals. However, those opportunities were not maximized. If there was just one goal from us, then the story would be different," he said enthusiastically.

"Regardless of all that, this match will provide an extraordinary experience for the Indonesian National Team. We are ranked 149th and Argentina is ranked first in FIFA. I give two thumbs up to the team of Asnawi Mangkualam (captain of the Indonesian national team) and his friends," he said.

Furthermore, Mayor Sutiaji said that from this friendly match will be a very valuable experience and will be a spark for the revival of our football world, especially in Malang. "In the future, our football achievements will definitely be better," he said.

A few days ago, the Indonesian National Team held the Palestinian National Team, ranked 0rd in FIFA, to a 0-93 draw at the Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) Stadium in Surabaya. "Matches like this will also improve our players' abilities and be a reflection of our players," he said. (say/yon)
