Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – In a series of programs to Visit Residents, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji and his staff visited the Zeus animation studio on Jalan Krisno No. 1, Polehan Village, Blimbing District, Friday (23/6/2023). The bespectacled man greatly appreciated the existence of the Zeus animation studio and other animation studios because they would produce creative and innovative young people.
Mayor Sutiaji also took the time to review the room where young people produce their creative works and communicate directly with them regarding the products produced and various things up to marketing reach. According to him, so far Zeus Animation has been very maximal and its reach has reached overseas, and this deserves to be appreciated.
Regarding the existence of this animation studio, the number one person in the Malang City Government asked his staff, such as the Malang City Communication and Information Service and the Malang City Trade and Industry Service to continue to provide facilitation and assistance. One of them is connectivity with other creative people in the Malang Creative Center (MCC) building.
"Here, the equipment is abundant and the place is comfortable and accepts many students and interns. If the place is not full or some of the participants can be placed in MCC. "We also ask that local residents also provide a sense of security and comfort, and the management of this studio establishes good communication with residents. So that there is a mutual symbiosis or a mutually beneficial relationship," added Sutiaji.
With the connectivity with the Department of Communication and Information and the Department of Trade and Industry to MCC, he explained, it will also further expand the reach of marketing and further improve the competence of young people. "This animation is part of the 17 sub-sectors of the creative economy which is also the focus of Malang City which has been ordained a creative city with the fields of film and games," said Sutiaji.
A similar statement was made by the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Muhammad Nur Widianto. He said that so far his party has embraced various animation studios and it has been running well. "We have a Sinau Bareng program, and this program can be utilized by animation studio owners to expand the reach and productivity of the studio," he said.
Meanwhile, Zeus Animation Director, Muchammad Muwaffaq admitted that he was very happy because there was special attention from the Mayor of Malang so that in the future his party would continue to work better. "We are very happy because earlier the mayor spoke directly to me for the progress of this studio. This will be a special motivation for us," he explained. (say/yon)
