Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Arema FC stated that there were no issues regarding the head coach's license for the 1-2023 Liga 2024 competition. According to the regulation, the head coach remains held by Joko 'Gethuk' Susilo. Joko Susilo is a coach who has an AFC Pro license. Joko's role as head coach continues his role in the previous season's competition.
"Regarding the coaching license, there is no problem. The head coach remains Coach Gethuk (Joko Susilo), continuing his role last season," said Arema FC Team Manager, Wiebie Dwi Andriyas, Friday (30/6/2023).
Wiebie stated that collaboration between Arema FC legends is currently very much needed to lift the players' mentality.
"Among the coaching team, a larger portion was deliberately filled by Arema FC legends because we know that there must be no broken spirit in the journey of the Singo Edan team," explained Wiebie.
Joko Susilo himself has collaborated with I Putu Gede from the start who is currently in the process of obtaining an AFC Pro license. In addition, there are other names such as Kuncoro and Siswantoro who are former Singo Edan team players.
Arema FC is currently in the consolidation phase to welcome the 1-2023 League 2024 competition. After holding two joint training sessions against Persikabo 1973 and Bali United, Arema FC is now undergoing a training camp in Yogyakarta which will be held on June 20-26, 2023. (say/yon)
