Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – To commemorate the Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah, IKIP Budi Utomo (IBU) Malang invited its students to be happy or celebrate happily, such as by eating and singing together.
By gathering together with the ranks of teaching staff and various campus elements, this is one proof that this higher institution is a comfortable and safe institution. Any educational institution at any level should be able to be like that, namely providing a sense of comfort for all its residents.
Several things were conveyed by the Chancellor of IBU, Nurkholis Sunuyeko when opening an event entitled silaturahmi membahani Iduladha dengan Bahagia at IBU Campus C on Jalan Citandui, Friday night (30/6/2023). On this occasion, he invited and appealed to his students not to interfere in other people's affairs.
This is also related to the commotion that occurred at a private college in Malang City some time ago. "Basically, all problems can be resolved well and this is one of the duties of a rector. So the rector in this case can not only compile the curriculum," added Nurkholis.
"The rector's job is indeed difficult. The abilities possessed are not only in the academic field, but also social, cultural and others. How students are comfortable studying and socializing, so that harmony and conduciveness are created, both on and off campus," he explained.
According to the bespectacled man, the important key is to be happy or we respond to various problems with a relaxed, cool head and sit together. "If we are happy, then everything will go well and if there is a problem, it can be resolved immediately," concluded Nurkholis. (say/yon)
