Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Teacher Training and Education Institute (IKIP) Budi Utomo (IBU) Malang will open a Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program in 2023. The first wave will be opened in early September with a quota of 150 people majoring in Mathematics Education, History, Indonesian Language, Economics and Physical Education.
Head of the IBU Malang Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG), Susandi, Saturday (1/7/2023), revealed that the two-semester or one-year education program is intended for pre-service and in-service participants. "For pre-service participants who are declared to have passed, they will receive a certificate. We will also submit it to the central government," he said.
He added, later we will help them to become ASN or Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K) in certain regional governments without tests or at least get priority. "Every participant who will register can come directly to the IBU Malang campus on Jalan Citandui," added Sandi.
He further said that prospective students who wish to register must be graduates of Strata 1 and linear with the chosen program. In addition, there will be a substantive test, written test and interview and a maximum age of 32 years. "If when the initial registration is opened the quota is full, then the registration will be closed," he explained.
According to Susandi, his party actually submitted a quota of more than 150 people but until now that number has been approved. "We will later submit for the second wave and all can be approved," he concluded. (say/yon)
