Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD with the agenda of Delivering the General Views of the Factions on the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) on Accountability for the Implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for the 2022 fiscal year was held in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Monday (3/7/2023).
The six factions in the Malang City DPRD conveyed their views and asked for further explanations from the executive ranks on various matters. Such as related to reducing poverty rates, optimizing flood management problems and APBD absorption.
In addition, it is also related to the Surplus Budget Utilization (Silpa), certification of Malang City Government assets and the completion of three traditional markets, namely Blimbing Market, Malang Big Market and Gadang Market, as well as optimization of parking fees.
Responding to this, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, said that Silpa was not due to a disproportionate budget, but rather efficiency. He gave an example, such as in 2023 in several regional apparatuses such as the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City.
"In 2023, the efficiency will come from three points, if in DPUPRPKP there is a lot, and Silpa has been agreed upon. We use the Rp400 billion and now there is only Rp100 billion or so. Because in the Rp400 billion budget ceiling, we have predicted it to be income. Therefore, it has been allocated for the budget. If I'm not mistaken, it has been Rp175 - Rp200 billion to be included in the APBD," explained the bespectacled man.
Then, he said that in 2023 his party would strengthen the potential income in the field. Such as the parking retribution sector on several roads in Malang City. According to him, this can increase the potential for Regional Original Income (PAD).
"The potential is high, and this can be strengthened. We have made many efforts, such as parking fees, we want to eliminate them on the right and left of the road, on the street. But that is related to our friends who are now in the field. There are many things that must be realized, we must have the same vision," said Sutiaji. (say/yon)
