64 Prospective Leading Teachers Attend 7 Harvest Learning Outcomes Workshop

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Showcasing the results of learning system innovations is a prerequisite for prospective Leading Teachers. This is what 64 Prospective Leading Teachers from Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, High and Vocational High School levels throughout Malang City did at the SMKN 4 Malang City Building, Sunday (9/7/2023).

The Head of the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of Malang City, Suwarjana, visited the exhibition booth for innovations in learning systems.

In the exhibition labeled '7 Harvest Workshop Learning Results', hundreds of learning systems are presented. Such as how to easily learn or memorize the history of the kingdom in Java and the war of independence. So through the Moving Teachers, both of these things will be easy to learn and remember for students.

Related to this, the Head of the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of Malang City, Suwarjana, SE, MM after opening the exhibition said that currently there are around 500 Leading Teachers in Malang City. To become a leading teacher, he explained that participants must pass a test from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) such as a written test, interview and presentation.

What distinguishes between a Moving Teacher and a teacher in general, Suwarjana said, among others, is that teachers must present a fun learning system and no longer focus on reading, writing, arithmetic or reading, writing and arithmetic. So that students are not too burdened with tight study hours and the subject matter is easy to digest.

"What is clear is that they are given insight into the relationship later with learning Pancasila, its emotions, and the culture of learning. Then there are also no boundaries between teachers and students. If the old one, I apologize for being a bit feudal, teachers asked to be respected and so on. Teachers are still respected but in this context it is learning together, teachers also learn with students," he explained.

Slowly, said the man who once served as Head of General Affairs of the Malang City Secretariat, later all teachers will become Moving Teachers. Thus, education in this country will continue to improve and can produce the next generation of the nation who have character, morals and are competitive. (say/yon)
