On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang emphasized that the participants were able to adapt to the current situation. Mayor Sutiaji encouraged all participants to be able to improve their capabilities and competencies according to current conditions. Sutiaji also encouraged that bureaucratic reform has entered the third stage of the 2021-2024 period to realize a world-class bureaucracy.

Currently, he said the Government is required to apply agile bureaucracy. Able to respond quickly to various unexpected changes to meet the demands and needs of society which are also increasingly changing.

This concept is here to improve the organization's ability to utilize information and communication technology. "Be a leader like a nail. Wherever it is, it is still a nail but it can adapt to the object being nailed, but it must not be crushed by what is in the surrounding environment," he said.

Furthermore, the bespectacled man expressed his hope that the project of change that will be drawn up will not only be limited to fulfilling training tasks. However, the project can really be done and is useful for strengthening organizational governance and management that leads to complete public services.

"Please, in the change project in your agency, it can be done sustainably. Not just a task. No need to be grandiose but in the end it cannot be implemented. Create a project that is a solution to problems that are often faced. Idealism may be high and that is necessary, but also adjust it to the conditions," he advised.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM), Drs. Totok Kasianto said that the implementation of this training is an implementation of Law No. 5 of 2014 which mandates that every structural official must meet the standards by following the required training, namely managerial training.

"These are the candidates who are expected to have knowledge and skills in agile and responsive leadership and become agents of change so that there is acceleration of the development of the Malang City Government," he said. (ari/yon)
