Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko opened the Socialization activity on Creating Harmony Together in Community Life which was held in the hall of the Klojen District Office, Malang City, Monday (10/7/2023).

Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi Jarwoko expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all elements in Klojen District, thanks to whose participation the security and order situation in the community remains maintained and conducive.
"I always position Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas together with the sub-district head and village head at the front, because that is our government system. Do not misperceive that our system/form of government stands alone, but together," he said.
On this occasion, the Deputy Mayor, who is familiarly called Bung Edi, also expressed his gratitude for still being given the opportunity to meet and socialize during his leadership with the Mayor of Malang who will remain until September 2023.
He said, this meeting is a good moment to increase togetherness, unity and oneness. As a citizen of Malang City, Bung Edi invites not to forget the history that the Indonesian nation was in the colonial period for so long until it finally became independent.
There was a moment for the Indonesian nation where the event on October 28, 1928, namely the Youth Pledge, became a momentum to unite determination and unite all aspects of the nation, not only youth, but uniting all races, religions, and tribes in Indonesia.
"Different, but still one. We must continue to uphold that commitment together forever, including in Malang City which is a miniature of Indonesia," said Bung Edi.
By maintaining this commitment, the Deputy Mayor hopes that there will be no racist attitudes and so on that can disrupt security and order. That way, the conduciveness in Malang City will be maintained.
Meanwhile, Klojen Sub-district Head Drs. Heri Sunarko, M.Si revealed that this activity is a form of anticipation of incidents of violations of public order that cause unrest. "Alhamdulillah in the Klojen Sub-district until today there have been no violations of public order. We must continue to maintain this condition together," said Heri.
From the results of the coordination meeting of the Leadership Coordination Forum in Klojen District, the Malang City Police Chief assessed that the level of crime and law violations in the Klojen District area was the lowest compared to other districts. "Thank you to the Deputy Mayor of Malang as the direct coordinator for handling public order and security in Malang City," concluded Heri. (cah/yon)
