Kedungkdangan (malangkota.go.id) – In order to continue to provide comfort for road users and smooth traffic flow, the Malang City Government will repair and widen a number of roads in 2023. In this regard, there are at least 35 roads in five sub-districts.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas Service (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City, Dandung Djulharjanto when contacted via his cellphone, Tuesday (11/7/2023)
According to him, the budget will be submitted in the 2023 APBD Financial Budget Amendment (PAK). "I don't remember the total budget, but it is not up to hundreds of billions," he explained.
Dandung said that the improvement of the road quality includes overlay and road widening, but the widening is not done at all points of the road. In the widening process, there will also be no land acquisition, but rather the addition of the road body by utilizing the existing land.
"One example is the widening of the road on Jalan Tombro, Malang City, precisely from Jalan Sudimoro to the north. In addition, widening will also be carried out on Jalan Ki Ageng Gribig, Malang City," he explained.
In addition to road improvements, Dandung said that drainage will also be repaired and maintained in all locations of roads that will be improved. "In this context, the Malang City Government is committed to continuing to improve infrastructure and public services to support the growth and progress of Malang City from various sectors," he concluded.
