Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji together with Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko and Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT symbolically handed over the Retirement Decree to 46 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who entered retirement during the morning assembly of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) ranks at the Merdeka Square of Malang City, Monday (17/7/2023).

On this occasion, the Satyalancana Karya Satya award was also presented to 248 ASN who had served for ten, twenty, and thirty years. In his speech, the Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, congratulated and expressed his appreciation to the retired ASN and ASN who had loyalty in their service who continuously demonstrated their skills, performance, discipline, and achievements.
"We appreciate and express our gratitude to the ASN who will soon retire. Their retirement is only at the agency, but the person must remain active in working and innovating. We continue to provide information and innovations that have good values and provide benefits for all of us," said the bespectacled man.
The number one person in the Malang City Government also expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary devotion and dedication to ASN in the Malang City Government environment who are currently receiving the Satyalancana Karya Satya sign. The awarding of the Satyalancana Karya Satya is an award from the State to ASN who have worked with full loyalty to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the State and Government and are full of devotion, honesty and discipline, so that they can be an example for other employees.
"This is proof that the state appreciates all of you. The age of service of 10, 20, 30 years is not a short number of years. It is a form of devotion of all of you to the nation and state towards the country that we love. For that, this form of appreciation is proof that the State appreciates, acknowledges that your devotion is very much needed," he exclaimed.
Mayor Sutiaji also advised that currently public expectations are increasingly high amidst information disruption, so as conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the transformation towards a world-class bureaucracy must be a concern.
"The awards we have won, such as the award from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, yesterday our LPPD entered the top four in East Java, also appreciation for our commitment in distributing LPG, we must continue to strengthen this. That's a small part, more than that, never be satisfied with achievements. Must continue to be hungry for achievements, because today must be better than yesterday and tomorrow must be better than today," he concluded. (yul/yon)
