Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) held a Socialization of Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) at the Aria Gajayana Hotel, Malang City, Tuesday (18/7/2023).
The consolidation of related regional institutions and apparatuses for bureaucratic alignment to accelerate the handover of PSU is an effort by the Malang City Government to continue to encourage housing developers to immediately hand over PSU.
The handover of housing PSU from developers to local governments aims to ensure the availability of housing PSU and ensure the sustainability of maintenance, management and utilization of housing infrastructure, facilities and utilities.
"We are continuously making efforts to get developers to hand over their PSU to us. Although there was a stagnation during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have started now because during the pandemic we focused on handling it," explained Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji when met after the activity.
This refers to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Residential Areas, which states that infrastructure, facilities and public utilities that have been completed must be handed over to the district/city government.
"Currently, we ask those who have not been fixed to submit. For those who have, they must be realized. Yesterday, the administration was done, now the physical form is checked in the field, so a desk was created. This desk is from DPUPRPKP, from BPN, from Real Estate Indonesia (REI), and also BKAD to work together immediately and have a target," concluded the bespectacled man. (yul/yon)
