Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko opened the Tumpeng Parade and Cultural Parade in the context of village cleaning

Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko after sending off the procession gave his appreciation. The reason is, in addition to commemorating the Islamic New Year 1445 Hijriyah and strengthening mutual cooperation, this event is a form of preserving culture.

In the Balearjosari Village area, said the man who is familiarly called Bung Edi, it is very thick with the history of the Singasari Kingdom. With the creations and culture displayed, this is the wealth that we have had so far and it is an asset. Therefore, this is an expensive item because this nation can rise. This nation can be great because it respects our cultural values," explained the bespectacled man.

From this cultural tradition, the Deputy Mayor also wants it to become one of the tourism agendas. "Thus, the number of tourist visits to Malang City and the community's economy continue to increase significantly," he said.
