Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Flower Modeling Competition for Children and Teenagers was the opening competition ahead of the 2023 Malang Flower Carnival (MFC). The modeling competition, which was held in the Kayutangan Heritage Area, Sunday afternoon (30/7/2023), attracted the interest of local residents to see the beauty of the competing little models.
Under the scorching sun, the little models were so skilled at strutting down the catwalk like professional models who were full of experience. Their style looked graceful, cute, and flirtatious which made the audience enthusiastic to watch until the competition ended.
One of the visitors, Agus Tri Nugroho expressed his happiness with the children's modeling competition at Kayutangan Heritage. "Events like this are very good for honing children's talents from an early age and getting used to daring to appear in front of many people," explained Agus.
If such performances are held often, according to him, in the future many great talented models will emerge from Malang. Moreover, Malang City is very supportive of holding various events, both small and large events.
Another tourist, Sawitri, said she was happy to be able to see the performance in Kayutangan directly, which she said was extraordinary. Kayutangan, she said, has now changed a lot and become a fun place to just walk around or tour Malang City.
"I am originally from Malang, but currently live in Jakarta. It so happens that today I am on holiday in Malang City, and at the same time I will see the Malang Flower Carnival," Sawitri asserted. (cah/yon)
