Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In collaboration with the ranks of Koramil and Polsek Klojen, Klojen District held a Linmas (Community Protection) Jamboree at the Scout Campsite on Jalan Wisnuwardhana Sawojajar, Malang City, Sunday (30/7/2023). 333 personnel from 11 sub-districts in Klojen District participated in the jamboree which was filled with marching competitions, Linmas marches, commando dances and cheers.
Klojen Sub-district Head, Heri Sunarko said that this jamboree is the first innovation in Malang City. He hopes that similar activities can be followed by other sub-districts, so that tough and characterful linmas personnel will be born.
Heri added, in addition to being one of the steps to support the success of the Simultaneous Elections to be held on February 14, 2024, through this activity, it will also strengthen communication between linmas in various matters. Such as in securing the Election and dealing with various disasters in Malang City.
"The role of linmas is very large in society, namely as one of the front guards in creating conduciveness. In working, they will synergize and collaborate with various parties. Such as RT, RW, lurah, Polsek and Kodim," explained Heri.
Heri said that every Linmas personnel should support the Malang City Government program in various ways. "This Jamboree is also a form of concern from the Malang City Government to them, so in this case there is a mutual symbiosis," concluded Heri. (say/yon)
