Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) held a Tax Awareness Prize Draw for 2023, Sunday (30/7/2023). This event was combined with the 2023 Malang Flower Carnival (MFC) which was held in the Kayutangan Heritage Area.
Dozens of prizes with a grand prize of a car have been distributed to the lucky people of Malang City. Namely, the community as taxpayers (WP) who have fulfilled their obligation to pay PBB before the due date on July 31, 2023 and who have sent proof of payment for restaurants and hotels that have installed e-Tax to the Malang City Bapenda. The winner of the main prize in this draw is Yudi Gunawan from Karangbesuki Village.
Malang Mayor, Drs. H. Sutiaji revealed that Gebyar Sadar Pajak is a form of appreciation from the Malang City Government for the obedience of residents in paying taxes. "Thank you for participating in the development of our beloved city by obediently paying taxes. Congratulations to the winners, hopefully more residents will pay their taxes on time," said Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, the Head of Bapenda Malang City, Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP., M.Si said that until now the percentage of taxpayers who have paid PBB has reached more than 70 percent. "On behalf of the Malang City Government, we express our gratitude and highest appreciation to the community who have paid their obligations to pay PBB and other regional taxes. All development programs in Malang City cannot be separated from the tax money paid by the community," he said in appreciation.
Handi further stated that his party also provided leniency for people who had not paid PBB until July 31, 2023, by waiving special fines for payments in August 2023.
"There is still an opportunity for people who may have had needs yesterday so they have not paid PBB. That can be paid in August without any administrative fines," he concluded. (ari/yon)
