Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The state must be present in various aspects of human life, such as providing a sense of security and comfort to all people when carrying out worship according to their beliefs.

This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, during a friendly visit with Buddhists at the Adi Bina Dharma Hati Vihara Adi Kasih Foundation Building on Jl. Taman Borobudur No. 48 Lowokwaru, Tuesday (8/8/2023).
The bespectacled man said that basically humans are social creatures who definitely need other people in various things. "We need other people to fulfill our needs regardless of the religion of the person whose services we need," he explained.
"Our diversity is extraordinary, we are rich in tribes, religions and languages. There is no beauty that is formed from one element and it turns out that the colors are beautiful. In order for this to live, we must respect each other. There are rich, there are poor, there is the number 2 because there is the number 1, there is blue because there is white and so on," he explained.
Furthermore, the number one person in the Malang City Government invited to continue strengthening diversity and tolerance. According to him, doing good or evil to others is the same as doing the same to yourself. "Therefore, let us maintain togetherness and harmony between religious communities," he continued.
At the moment of the Mayor of Malang Sutiaji's friendship with the Buddhist community, it was attended by the Chairman of the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB), sub-district heads and village heads throughout Lowokwaru District. (say/yon)
