Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Together with Malang Regent HM Sanusi, Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji welcomed the arrival of the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian at the Abdulrahman Saleh Air Force Base (Lanud) Malang, Wednesday (9/8/2023). The welcoming of the former Chief of Police, which was also attended by officials at Lanud Abd Saleh, was very friendly.
Likewise, during the friendly gathering, the Regent and Mayor of Malang interacted with the Minister of Home Affairs before they continued with several agendas in Malang. Several officials from the Malang City Government such as the Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency, Heru Mulyono and the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) Handi Priyanto also welcomed the arrival of the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs.
The two regional heads in Malang Raya looked very intense when talking with Minister Tito. When confirmed, whether there were any special instructions, Malang Mayor Sutiaji admitted that they only had a light chat. Likewise, when asked whether there was any connection to politics, the bespectacled man admitted that there was none.
After some time of socializing, the group then left the VVIP room and the Minister of Home Affairs continued his working visit agenda which was also attended by the Regent and Mayor of Malang. During this working visit, the Mayor of Malang Sutiaji accompanied the Minister of Home Affairs when he was an external examiner for a doctoral degree at the Meredeka University of Malang. (say/yon)
