Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – To build communication and togetherness and maintain harmony between religious communities, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, together with the ranks of the Malang City Government, visited Catholic religious figures and communities at the Santo Albertus Church, Jl A. Yani No. 22 Blimbing, Malang City, Wednesday (9/8/2023).
In addition to being attended by the Mayor of Malang, this gathering event was also attended by all religious figures in Malang City, including the Head of the Malang City FKUB KH Ahmad Taufiq Kusuma, the Father of the Albertus Yulius Agus Purnomo Parish Church, and also the heads of regional apparatus and sub-district heads and village heads in the Blimbing District area.
The Mayor of Malang on this occasion invited all religious communities to always maintain harmony between religious communities. "I just want to provide assurance that the state is present to provide a sense of security and comfort for all religious communities in Malang City so that they can carry out their worship in peace according to their beliefs," explained Sutiaji, Wednesday (9/8/2023).
He added that during this kind of social gathering, his party always brings together regional apparatus, sub-district heads and village heads to get closer to all the people of Malang City without exception.
Through a gathering like this, according to the Mayor of Malang, it can also be a forum to inventory existing problems and to see firsthand the conditions in the field.
The number one person in the ranks of the Malang City Government also reminded that in a political year like now, all components must anticipate so that there are no problems between religious communities.
