Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to welcome and enliven the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) held various competitions participated by State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Perumda Tunas, Perumda Tugu Tirta and from the ranks of the Malang City Police, Kodim 0833 Malang City.
The competitions held include marching, stilts, dagongan and long sandals. From these competitions, it is also to continue to strengthen the familiarity and togetherness among the participants.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Service (Disporapar) of Malang City, Baihaqi, Thursday (10/8/2023). He added that the various competitions certainly have their own meaning and philosophy.
Baihaqi gave an example, for the marching competition it has a meaning of how we can work together to organize the steps. "Then the traditional dagongan competition, stilt competition and long clog competition, all of that is done together with the team and can be implemented in working, to serve the community," he explained.
In every race that has been held, Baihaqi said that of course a team spirit is needed with one common goal, which is to reach the finish line. "To build teamwork in working to serve the community, it must also be full of enthusiasm, then togetherness with one step, the same conscience, so that it can be inspired like a long sandal race," he continued.
"If we do not have the same spirit, the steps are not the same, of course we cannot finish quickly. Likewise in providing services to the community. So the hope is that the competition we hold can be an inspiration and motivation in working later," concluded Baihaqi. (say/yon)
